ALERT: Recycling Center Burglaries Across Southern CA

ACRI has received multiple reports of recycling center burglaries occurring from San Diego County through Los Angeles County.  In these incidents, thieves are sawing into safes and stealing cash stored on-site. Many of the burglaries appear to be connected to the same organized group, and the crimes are being carried out in minutes. We urge all members to remain vigilant and take extra security precautions, including minimizing on-site cash storage and reviewing surveillance and alarm systems. Please report any suspicious activity or attempted break-ins immediately to local law enforcement.
